Guto Macedo foi pioneiro no Ensino do Contato Improvisação no Brasil. Atua também como Professor de Dança Contemporânea e Moderna, Movimento Autêntico, Coreógrafo, Ator-bailarino, Músico, Cantor, Educador Somático e de Percepção Musical, Pesquisador do Movimento e Facilitador da Lei do Tempo. Pesquisador teórico-prático independente, membro participante e co-fundador dos coletivos CIMA e Corposições. Integra o Núcleo And Lab Rio e o AND Collective e colabora na Escola do Reparar. Formado em direção teatral (UFRJ/2006), Pós-Graduado em Neurociências (UFRJ/2016) e Facilitador da Lei do Tempo (Instituto Lei do Tempo/2017). Foi dançarino profissional integrante de diferentes grupos no Rio de Janeiro e em Nova Iorque. Desde 2003 pratica o Movimento Autêntico (MA) com a Introdutora do MA no Brasil, Soraya Jorge. Com ela criou o CIMA (Centro Internacional do Movimento Autêntico) e desenvolveu a pesquisa Afecção Entre o Movimento Autêntico e o Contato Improvisação. Seu trabalho circulou por diferentes países na América do Sul (Brasil, Argentina, Uruguai), na Europa (Portugal, Espanha, Áustria, Alemanha, Rússia e Grécia) e EUA (NY), tendo participado de diversos festivais e encontros internacionais.

Guto Macedo was a pioneer at teaching Contact Improvisation in Brazil. He also works as a Professor of Contemporary and Modern Dance, Authentic Movement, Choreographer, Actor-dancer, Musician, Singer, Somatic and Musical Perception Educator, Movement Researcher and Law of Time’s Facilitator. Professor of the Modern Dance University Extension Course at Faculdade Angel Vianna (RJ / BR). Independent theoretical-practical researcher and participating member and co-founder of the CIMA and Corpositions. He is a member of Rio de Janeiro AND Lab Cluster and AND Collective and collaborates in the School of Reparar. Graduated in theater direction (UFRJ / 2006), Postgraduate in Neuroscience (UFRJ / 2016) and Facilitator of the Law of Time (Instituto Lei do Tempo / 2017). He was a professional dancer in different groups in Rio de Janeiro and New York. Since 2003 he has been practicing Authentic Movement (AM) with the Introducer of AM in Brazil, Soraya Jorge. With her, he created CIMA (International Center for Authentic Movement) and developed the research named Affection Between Authentic Movement and Contact Improvisation. His work circulated in different countries in South America (Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay), Europe (Portugal, Spain, Austria, Germany, Russia and Greece) and in the USA (NY), having participated in several festivals and international meetings.
ABOUT THE 'MULTIDIMENSIONAL BODY' CLASSES
The proposal of Multidimensional Body is to create body in the intersection of the visible and the invisible, the inside and outside, what touches and is touched in the soma (body of itself), crossing limits between the perceptible and the imperceptible. In this perceptive opening, each one with its own multi-images of body, where time crosses space, the past resonates in the present, and new somatic schemes emerge.
